The Berkeley School was the first Montessori school in Berkeley, CA, founded in 1964. While still holding fast to its Montessori roots, The Berkeley School also embraces other progressive pedagogy, including Project Zero and Reggio-Emilia. A key tenet of TBS is "what matters in school matters in life."
